Stars & Hornets Celebrate Christmas

All day annual event to benefit local charities
The Buffalo Stars and Buffalo Hornets Annual Christmas Party and Food & Gift drive takes place tomorrow, Saturday, December 12th at Holiday Twin Rinks from 3-10:30pm.This is an all day event where the families of the Buffalo Hornets Youth and Buffalo Stars Juniors contribute to our selected charities for the season. This year the food drive will benefit the Food Bank of WNY. The Toy & Gift Drive will benefit the Buffalo News Neediest Fund. We have also adopted a Military Family of 8 from the Niagara Falls Air Base and will collect goods and services so that this wonderful family may have a Merry Christmas.
Festivities for the day include a snack buffet all day long; the arrival of Santa including pictures with him; festive music and carols; Chinese Auction and prize give-away; 50-50 raffles and much more. There is an Open Family Skating Party at 5:30pm followed by the Buffalo Stars CHA Junior B vs Springfield Pics at 7pm. The day opens with the Buffalo Hornets Bantam Major vs Clarence at 4pm.
Donors may contribute food, toys and gifts at our collection facility in the lobby of Holiday Rinks between 3-9pm.
